Mount Jewett Memorial Library Mural
Karen Sees, a native of Mount Jewett and a resident of Hamlin Township, and Samila Sosic, a well-known Bradford artist who is an art professor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, have completed painting the mural on the west side of the Mount Jewett Memorial Library.
The open book will are their signature piece, similar to an open art book with a painting by Karen and a painting by Samila. This will likely be one of the final parts painted on the mural.
The Mount Jewett Memorial Library received state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency
